The Beatles are arguably the first rock band to have ever been introduced. Today, they’re an important part of music history. Because of this, they have been selling merch, including t-shirts, ever since the 1960s. The Beatles mean a lot to me. Both of my parents are big Beatles fans and got me into the band. I listen to their music on a regular basis and always think of my parents when I hear a Beatles song.

If you’re a Beatles fan, you’ll probably want to pick up a Beatles shirt. But with so many options out there, it can be difficult to choose the best one. There are always the classic shirts to choose from or you can opt for a more obscure and rare shirt. If you’re looking for a Fab Four shirt, here are some of my recommendations and other tips to pick out the best Beatles t-shirt.

Bottom line up front

I think the best Beatles shirt is the Revolver album cover. I’m a bigger fan of the later Beatles material and Revolver is the album that started their trend to a more experimental rock band. While my favorite Beatles always changes, Revolver is my favorite right now. This shirt is white and has the album cover printed.

Tips to Find the Best Beatles T-Shirts

First, you’ll want to make sure you have the correct size. Most band t-shirts are in unisex sizes, which means they’re available in men’s sizes.

If you’re a man buying a shirt, select your average shirt size. But if you’re a woman, you’ll want to size down. For example, I usually wear a medium in women’s shirts, so I have to buy a unisex/men’s small. You may also want to consider women’s band t-shirts and youth sizes if they fit you best.

If you’re ordering online, I always suggest looking at the size chart, no matter which type of shirt you buy. Every band orders their merchandise from different vendors and they all have different fits. I’ve definitely owned band shirts that were tight and others that were baggy, even if I got the same size. Most online merch stores offer a size guide. You’ll need to know your body measurements, but this is the best way to ensure your shirt will fit.

All t-shirts have a similar style. The sleeves usually go down to the middle of the bicep and the neck is a crew-neck style. But you can also find band t-shirts with shorter sleeves and different neckline variations.

How I Selected the Best Beatles Shirts

While most of the shirts I selected are men’s/unisex shirts, I paid more attention to the shirt design. The Beatles have various shirt designs, from recognizable artwork to one-off designs. I made sure to include both here. I also made sure to include their simpler logos in addition to more complex designs.

The next part is the store. I included shirts from the official Beatles store as well as popular merchandise stores (Rockabilia, Hot Topic, etc.) and even Amazon.

This is my favorite shirt out of all of these. This t-shirt features the album cover of the famous Beatles album Revolver, which is one of my favorite Beatles albums.

It’s available on The Beatles’ official merch store and is available in a variety of sizes, from small to 2XL. The shirt is white to match the album cover. I’m not a fan of white shirts but the color works for this design. It’s a high-quality shirt and is the perfect way to express your love for the album.

The Beatles Let It Be Vintage Black T-Shirt

Is the final Beatles album, Let It Be, your favorite from the band? If so, consider this t-shirt. The shirt features a design similar to the album, that shows each of the band members in a square silhouette. However, this one is different; the band photos almost look like cut-outs on written paper (can’t tell what that paper is). I love how unique this shirt is, you won’t find it anywhere else!

This is a never-before-seen design, limited edition, and it’s exclusive to The Beatles’ website. If you want this shirt, I suggest ordering it quickly. The shirt is available in a range of sizes, from small to 2XL.

The Beatles Sgt. Peppers Seal T-Shirt

If Sgt. Peppers is your favorite Beatles album but if you want something more than the album cover as a t-shirt, you’ll love this shirt! The shirt is black and features a close-up view of the Sgt. Pepper’s seal that you see on the album cover.

I love how different this is, especially since the seal is something we don’t see often. The shirt is available in sizes small to 2XL (though they’re out of large). Reviewers said this shirt is snug, so be sure to order a size up.

The Beatles At the Budokan T-Shirt

In 1966, The Beatles played at The Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. The Budokan is an indoor arena and was originally built to host The Olympics. To commemorate this iconic show, you can buy a t-shirt. The shirt features a photo taken of the band’s performance.

I love concert photography so I think this is a unique shirt design option. It’s a light blue shirt and features text written in Japanese. I love the Japanese text but am not crazy about the light blue color. The shirt is available in sizes small to 2XL, though it’s all out of the size medium.

The Beatles Logo T-Shirt

Do you just want a simple Beatles shirt? I suggest getting this one. It’s a black shirt with the band’s printed distressed logo at the top in a vintage-looking tan color. As weird as it sounds, shirts with only the band logo are some of my favorite. That and I love black t-shirts. I do think $26 is expensive for a shirt that’s only black with the band’s logo. The shirt is available in sizes small to XL.

The Beatles Abbey Road Women’s Short Sleeve T-Shirt

I had to include a girlie shirt in here! Men’s/unisex shirts tend to look unattractive on us, so I always prefer buying women’s shirts. This shirt is grey in color and features the album cover of the classic Beatles album Abbey Road. I would like this more if there were more color options, but I do like the gray color.

This shirt was printed in the USA and is made of half cotton and half polyester. The material is very soft and it’s safe to machine wash. The shirt is true to size and also is made in plus sizes. It’s an officially licensed shirt.

The Beatles British Flag T-Shirt

Want a Beatles logo shirt but also want something a little different? I like the look of this shirt! It’s a black shirt with the band’s logo in white. But behind the logo is the British flag. I think that’s so unique and it commemorates the influence that The Beatles had on popular British music.

If you don’t want a black shirt, you can choose this shirt in different colors. This shirt is also available in red, slate gray, heather blue, and olive. It’s an officially licensed shirt.

The shirt is 100% cotton (except the heather blue one, which is 90% cotton and 10% polyester) so it’s safe to use in the washer and dryer. It’s a lightweight shirt but some customers complained it’s loose-fitting. I still suggest you order your normal size (this is a men’s/unisex shirt).

The Beatles London 1963 T-Shirt

This shirt is white and features an image of the band from 1963. The image shows the band members walking on the streets of London. I think that’s so interesting, especially since I’ve never seen this image before. The band’s logo is printed on the back in a tan color. It’s made of 100% cotton. I’m only seeing the shirt available in a size small, which is a shame.

The Beatles Pink Puff Ink Girl’s T-Shirt

Here is a cute shirt if you want a girl’s shirt a little more on the feminine side. This shirt is white with a silhouette of the band members with the logo. The designs are in a couple of different shades of pink. These designs were printed with puff ink, meaning the design sticks out a little bit. I personally wouldn’t buy this shirt because I’m not a fan of the color pink, but wanted to include it in case there are female Beatles fans who are more feminine than me.

The shirt is available in sizes small to 3XL (it’s all out in size XS). The sizes are all juniors women’s sizes. You can put it in the washer and dryer; because of the light colors, I would only wash it in cold water and dry it on low heat to ensure the colors don’t fade or mix with other colors. It’s made of cotton.

The Beatles Abbey Road Puff Ink T-Shirt

I think this is a really cool spin on the artwork from the Abbey Road album. The shirt is black and features silhouettes of the band members walking on the infamous crosswalk in blue. The band’s logo in white is printed above the band. The blue design was printed in puff ink, meaning the design sticks out.

Because of the bright blue color, I suggest washing the shirt in cold water and drying it on low heat. It’s made of cotton and is in men’s/unisex sizes. You can buy this shirt in sizes XS to 3XL.

The Beatles All You Need Is Love T-Shirt

Is “All You Need Is Love” your favorite Beatles song? Maybe you love hippie artwork and fashion? If you said yes to either question, you’ll love this Beatles shirt! The shirt is gray and features a printed peace sign with the text “All You Need Is Love” printed around the peace sign.

I do love this song but the shirt is a little too cheesy hippy for me. Nonetheless, I know my hippy friends would love a shirt like this one! Both the peace sign and text are in white. This is a woman’s shirt and is available in sizes XS to 2XL.

The shirt includes the seal on Ringo Starr’s drumhead and also features the band logo in white. It’s a traditional t-shirt, with sleeves and a crewneck. The shirt is available in sizes small to 2XL and they’re all in men’s sizes.

I do wish that shirt was available in black because I’m not a fan of white shirts, but this is one of my favorite Beatles albums so I can’t help but love this shirt.
